Return Policy

In-print and out-of-print titles in saleable condition (printed books) may be returned within 90 days of the original invoice date. No more than 10% of your original order total may be returned. The original invoice number, date of original invoice, and discount received are necessary when making the return. Digital product (video presentations, on-demand presentations, audio, digital books) may not be returned.

Products returned more than 90 days from the date of the invoice, or products returned in excess of 10% of the original order, or products returned without invoice information, will not be given credit and will not be returned to the customer. No credit will be granted for items not purchased directly from Saint Mary’s Press.

Please pack return merchandise carefully. Credit will only be issued for products that are received in saleable condition (as defined below). Returned items not in saleable condition will be discarded and will not be credited or shipped back to the customer.

Products returned must be in saleable condition. Credit will not be given for items in non-saleable condition, such as:

  • autographed, stamped, marked, stickered, or have sticker residue.
  • bent, torn, or cut pages.
  • dirty, scuffed, faded, damaged, or scratched pages or covers.
  • damage due to improper packing upon return.
  • games or card decks in which the shrink-wrap or seal has been opened or broken.

Saint Mary’s Press is not responsible for damages caused to materials in shipment. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges incurred on returned materials. Returns exceeding $25,000 will receive credit to customer account. A refund check will not be issued.

Please examine all products upon receipt of your order. If a product is found to be defective or damaged, please call 800-533-8095 within 30 days of the order receipt to receive proper credit.

Canceling an order
When canceling an order, call customer care at 800-533-8095. The request must be received on the same day in which the order was placed. Cancellation must take place prior to the order being shipped. The complete shipping and billing address and the order number are required, if the order was placed on our Web site.
