These two short chapters of The Covenant Structure of the Bible: An Introduction to the Bible introduce the biblical concept of covenant as the central theme of the Bible. These readings will help you understand the characteristics of the biblical covenants and the structure of covenants in biblical times. The author, a Protestant minister, uses the King James translation of the Bible, but his treatment of the topic in no way contradicts Catholic teachings.
