A Pauline Prayer Service

About this article

This Pauline Prayer Service includes some of Paul's most inspirational words.
Leader.
Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. With these words Saint Paul greeted the believers of his time, reminding them of the great gift they had been given in Jesus Christ. Almost two thousand years later, Saint Paul's letters continue to guide the church and inspire believers. As we pray this litany of Paul's words, we ask the Holy Spirit to make us enthusiastic in living the Gospel message.

"I give thanks to my God at every remembrance of you, praying always with joy in my every prayer for all of you, because of your partnership for the gospel. . . . I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will
continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus" (Philippians 1:3-7). In his name we pray.
