The Bathhouse
Like other Roman-Byzantine cities, Bet-She'an had numerous bathhouses, of which this example at 8,500 square meters, is the smaller of two discovered in the town center. Build in the 4th century C.E., this bathhouse was in use for 200 years, undergoing periodic renovations and alterations.
