Shirley Kelter

Shirley Kelter worked with Saint Mary's Press as an editor and workshop and retreat leader for Catholic high school educators for several years. Prior to that she served for 11 years as a parish youth minister, director of religious education, and RCIA coordinator; and Catholic high school campus minister and theology teacher. Shirley now designs and facilitates retreats and workshops for Catholic educators and ministers, health care providers and caregivers, and other groups seeking spiritual renewal through the ministry she founded, SpiritTending. Shirley earned a master's degree in pastoral ministry from Loyola University in Chicago and certificates in youth ministry from the Center for Ministry Development in Naugatuck, Connecticut.
