Virginia Halbur, MA

Virginia (Ginny) Halbur, MA, is a freelance development editor who spent the past seven years as a member of the Saint Mary's Press editorial staff. She served for seven years as assistant director for catechesis and evangelization for the Diocese of La Crosse, Wisconsin, and also taught as an adjunct professor for Viterbo University in La Crosse. Prior to working for the diocese, Ginny spent more than two decades in volunteer and professional catechetical ministry. She credits her love for Scripture and her desire to share the Gospel message with young people as her motivation for entering pastoral ministry. Ginny's passion for Scripture is evident in her work as general editor for the Saint Mary's Press® College Study Bible, as well as in her work as editor for Coyote Meets Jesus and the Saint Mary's Press® Essential Quick Charts.
