Jerry Shepherd

Jerry Shepherd holds a PhD in literature from Washington University and a BA from Harvard University. He has taught at both the college and high school levels. A former headmaster, he is currently director of guidance at Northridge Preparatory School in Niles, Illinois. He is the author of Bootstrapping Educators: A Self-Help Guide for Teachers (University Press of America, 1987) and has published several booklets, articles, and short stories.
