Cheryl M. Tholcke

Cheryl M. Tholcke, coordinator for youth ministry services at the Center for Ministry Development since 2002, has been involved in youth ministry since 1976. She holds a master of pastoral studies degree from Loyola University, New Orleans, and for 21 years directed youth ministry for the Diocese of Sacramento. Cheryl teaches courses on youth ministry, is project coordinator for Youth Ministry Access, and manages CMD’s website. She has extensive experience in leadership formation and training, group process and facilitation, and youth retreats. In 2008, she was awarded the National Catholic Youth Ministry Award for Regional Leadership. Cheryl and her husband, Stephen, live in Sacramento, California.
