Thomas East

Thomas East has been involved in youth ministry for more than 20 years. He is director of the Center for Ministry Development, where he coordinates the Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies Program, for which he has taught the Prayer and Worship course for youth ministry leaders for the past 12 years throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, Ireland, and Guam. Tom has also led workshops on various topics in youth ministry, including youth spirituality, youth prayer, and youth involvement in liturgy. Before his current position, Tom was the director of youth ministry and the associate director of religious education for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. He holds a master of arts degree in religious studies from Mount Saint Mary's College in Los Angeles. Tom and his family reside in Gig Harbor, Washington.
