Jerry Windley-Daoust
Jerry Windley-Daoust has worked as a journalist, editor, and freelance writer for more than eight years. He won Minnesota Monthly's Tamarack Award in 1997 for his short story, "Bury Your Dead," and a Catholic Press Association award for "Apple Tree Angels," which was published by St. Anthony Messenger magazine. In addition, he has volunteered extensively with the Winona Catholic Worker, which provides hospitality to the homeless. He is currently busy raising his three children at home while continuing to do part-time freelance editing and writing for Saint Mary's Press and others.
